Taryn is the intake specialist at Coast Land Law, where she guides potential clients who are interested in hiring the firm. She is a "people person" who truly enjoys working with and helping people, and strives to help them decide whether our firm is a good fit for them. She has deep empathy and patience for potential clients who may be facing difficult situations. She is a team-oriented person who works closely with staff to serve clients well.
Before she joined the firm, Taryn spent seven years in the veterinary field, including four years as lead veterinary technician. She excelled in lab work, such as using microscopes, drawing blood, and setting IV catheters. At Safe Harbor Animal Hospital, in Warrenton, Oregon, she worked closely with animals and their owners to take care of the animals' needs and provide them with comfort and care in a wide variety of situations. Here, she developed her ability to operate with grace under fire with total dedication to making sure animals were taken care of and advocated for.
As part of her veterinary background, Taryn graduated in 2018 as a Certified Veterinary Assistant from Linn-Benton Community College. She is an enthusiastic learner, and enjoys learning and growing as part of her professional development. She brings a strong technical background to the firm from her work in the veterinary industry, including her skills and abilities related to carefully listening to and understanding clients.
Taryn was born and raised in the picturesque town of Astoria, Oregon, and finds her inspiration in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. She has deep family roots in the area, and has developed an enduring love for the region, especially its proximity to the water, a constant source of peace and renewal. In her spare time, Taryn enjoys spending quality moments with her family and her two orange cats, Rexi and Francis. She also enjoys developing her golf game, which she learned from her father, an avid golfer, and seeks out new and captivating golfing destinations to explore.
